POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for increasing the customer base by developing new relationships with prospects and closing sales to achieve new customer acquisition. Requires a highly-motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Performance requirements include, but are not limited to, utilizing knowledge of company products and services to increase sales in all markets through lead generation and follow-up, conducting both inbound and outbound sales via telephone. Maintains relationships with current customers while providing customer support for Point Broadband. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all products, procedures, special customer incentives and/or programs to ensure successful sales results.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively market the benefits of our company and product offering to prospective customers
- Through both telephone and door-to-door initiatives, sell products and services to new and existing accounts
- Support outbound B2B sales and marketing efforts
- Meet sales objectives that translate into success for all programs to achieve revenue targets as required
- Process new customer orders such as installations, scheduling and additional services
- Effectively communicate via phone and in person to ensure customer requests are completed on first call
- Maintain adequate files and records for increased efficiency
- Assist with set up, execution, and break down of events
- Assist with marketing activities including social media, event marketing and lead generation
- Other duties performed as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Must maintain consistent attendance, working evenings and Saturdays
- High School Diploma or GED required. College course work / degree preferred
- Two years of work experience with previous sales or customer service experience preferred
- Intermediate expertise with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Earth
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/CONDITIONS
- Required to regularly sit for long periods, ability to walk for up to one hour at a time
- Speak, hear normal conversation and ring tones, both in person and via telephone/computer
- Operate a computer, telephone and other office equipment
- Must have adequate close vision for reading and computer work
