Assembly and Test Technician, Fastener Engineering – Troy, MI or Chesterfield, MI

What You’ll Do
As an Assembly and Test Technician, Fastener Engineering you’ll be part of our Engineered Fastening team located in Troy, MI or Chesterfield, MI.  You’ll get to:
 

• Work with Product Development Engineers (PDE) and Program Managers (PMO) to build prototype and pre-production assemblies and test prototype and pre-production parts, as well as current production parts.
  • Conduct part reviews through validation methods: PV testing, CT Scans, CAD overlays, etc.
  • Follow Test Work Instructions (TWI), create test reports and update DVP&R’s.
• Package parts and assemblies, add labels and prepare for shipment.

• Associate or Bachelor degree in technical field recommended
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Ability to coordinate multiple and fast paced projects
• Experience with APQP process (DFMEA, DVP&R, Team Feasibility)
• Strong interpersonal skills, computer skills, leadership skills
• Experience operations and lab environments
