A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE MANAGER
Most of our production plants run 24/7, and our equipment is quite unique and not easily replaced. So, as an Industrial Maintenance Manager, your role in keeping our manufacturing equipment operational is critical to our success. You and your team evaluate and correct all mechanical and building problems that arise. Proactively, you maintain effective preventative and corrective maintenance procedures. Under your excellent leadership, the maintenance crew is inspired to keep everything clean and in good working order. Your style of management fosters teamwork, respect, accountability, and trust. You control all scheduling for your team. Safety is always your first priority! In fact, you are responsible for training new personnel on company and OSHA safety standards. You enjoy leading the amazing maintenance team that keeps our plant production optimal!
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Authorized to work in the US
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience as a manager in a manufacturing setting OR an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Knowledgeable about industrial electrical (Variable Frequency Drives/Programmable Logic Controller), mechanical, and welding procedures.
Also needed:
- PLC/VFD and electrical experience a plus
- Ability to track all operations and oversee maintenance staff while controlling costs
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs. and be on your feet for extended period of time
Good math skills, prior rendering experience, management experience in the agricultural industry, and experience with maintenance-related computer programs are a huge plus! WORK SCHEDULE
