PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT - DIGITAL BUSINESS SOLUTIONS (FULL-TIME | REMOTE)
The OST Principal Consultant is a high-level performer with the ability to successfully build customer relationships, guide, and shape business value through the execution of high-quality consulting service efforts. They provide a perspective for our customers' evolving relevance and scale and shape conversations by selling and developing trusted relationships that fulfill their needs across five areas: domain expertise, value selling, delivery guidance, thought leadership, and clarity of point of view.
As experienced consulting professionals, Principal Consultants serve as trusted partners - using experience, data, insights, and industry knowledge of OST service offerings to helps organizations and leaders navigate todays digital landscape for lasting competitive advantage. They lead business transformation driven by disruptive technology and digital experiences.
In this role, you will be an outcome-focused, strategic, value-oriented, and conceptual thinker. Your awareness of digital ecosystems allows you to see both a big-picture and a detailed view of a business problem to conceptualize, design, and present solutions. You excel at building business, strategic and technical relationships with executive and director level leaders and you will be able to identify the core business problems organizations are trying to solve. You connect and articulate people, process, and technology need with measurable business value. Just as important as being a visionary and strategist for our clients will be your ability to provide the same to our delivery consults.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:
* Help develop points of view on addressing industry challenges, leveraging cutting-edge digital capabilities, and helping structure and deliver solutions to clients.
* Will contribute to associatedLine of Business point of viewstrategies in partnership with the Business Line Leader.
* Be able to work strategically across all business lines to enable the accelerated digital transformation (opportunities and execution) aligned to our cornerstone account strategy.
* Evangelize the value of OST inside and outside the company!
* Be the trusted strategic advisor to clients, responsible for shaping the discussion around business challenges, defining and presenting the optimal solution, and ensuring that the solution is transitioned to the appropriate delivery consultants.
* Develop and curate the relationship with emerging and existing clients and translate customer requests and ideas into a formal statementof work.
* Collaborate with Account Executives and delivery practices to quickly and accurately complete Scoping Documents, Business Cases, ROI,SOWs, and other deliverables in the sales process.
* Perform strategic business and financial analysis in support of opportunities.
* Provide the overall vision of the project solution and be the link between the needs of the client and the technical delivery consultants.
* Provide leadership and guidance to other consultants within the organization, building vocational and consulting capabilities
* Comfortable with ambiguous situations and/or conversations and understands how to provide clarity to clients and consultants
* Provide single-threaded and cross-functional resourcing input, including expanding/contracting (share resources with other teams) team to meet demand
* Conduct and craft content for executive presentations, blogs, webinars, speaking opportunities, whitepapers, facilitate meetings, etc.
* Develop and maintain strong Digital Ecosystem relationships in order to understand clients business, products, and positioning in the marketplace and how client partners can best work with OST to achieve successful client outcomes.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
* Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Design or related field. Masters degree in business preferred. Possess a balance of technical skills, functional knowledge, and client consultative skills.
* At least10 years of relevant experiencewith substantial involvement in business transformation, business strategy implementation, and technology, design, development, and commercialization of emerging technology within enterprise environments or specific industry settings.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience successfully leading complex, integrated projects across multiple businesses, strategy, and technology groups.
* A broad enterprise-wide view of the business and appreciation for goals, strategy, objectives, andcapabilities, and understanding of how technology supports the business.
* In-depth environment; Design, Hardware, Connectivity, Software Development, Platforms, Integrated Systems, Data Analytics, and Cloud are highly recommended. Design thinking experience and systems thinking expertise highly encouraged.
* Demonstrated ability to lead Digital Transformation Initiatives through design, development, commercialization, deployment, optimization, management, scaling, and support lifecycle.
* Ability to recognize organizational patterns, challenges, and opportunities to help guide client leadership through developing organizational capabilities and agility in leveraging digital technology in the enterprise.
* Demonstrated success in consultative/complex sales processes with proven success leading technical and economic value discussions with senior customer executives that drive key decisions and implementation.
* Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to provide clarity to complex issues, and synthesize large amounts of information
* Demonstrated thought leadership skills in the Digital Transformation space in identifying trends, cross-industry best practices, contextualizing complex interdependencies, and exploration of emerging business value differentiation.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong decision-making orientation with the ability to effectively and persuasively present information/point of view to leaders and employees.
* Ability to influence others to move toward consensus. Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities, leveraging internal and/or external resources, where and when needed, to do whats right for the customer and for the organization.

* Experience in working with senior business stakeholders in designing solution options.
