Job Summary
The manufacturing engineer position will lead in the development and implementation in project improvements and efficiencies.
Essential Functions
- Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and workflows to develop and lead process improvements.
- Develop operator instruction creation and updates.
- Process Efficiency Tracking .
- Identify and implements testing, fixtures, and other aids to verify the manufacturing process.
- Train operators on new and/or updated manufacturing and efficiency processes.
- Participate in process audits and issue resolution.
- Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Uses skills to maintain efficiencies that meet company goals and budgets.
Education & Experience
- Experience: minimum of 3-5 years.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in CAD desired.
- Familiar with lean manufacturing techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management and problem solving skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows applications – Word, Excel and Outlook.
