This Jr. Development Technician will be located in our Research and Development Center and will have primary responsibility for finishing, assembly and visual inspection of prototype patterns. Trouble shoots equipment and processes. Inspects the work performed to ensure compliance with customer's expectations. Compiles and maintains specific documents and records. Provides feedback regarding work instructions as appropriate. Writes summaries of work performed and observations. Performs and documents a variety of preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair duties for equipment, as required. Complies with all EHS rules required for the work environment. Performs other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Minimum of two years of consistent work experience post high school.
Successfully meet the standardized Pre-Visor testing requirements. If applicant has worked as a technician at Howmet in the past 10 years or possesses a minimum of an associate degree, testing is not required.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
