Evoqua has an exciting opportunity for a High Purity Water Systems Technician supporting our customers in Southeast and Northeast MI area based out of Hazel Town , MI . As a High Purity Water Technician, you will perform installation, start-ups, investigative tests, troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance to our water treatment equipment (reverse osmosis, CDI, automatic softeners, carbon units and deionization water systems) at multiple customer locations. We provide training to advance you through our Technician program and pay increases that correspond with your expanded capabilities. As a Field Service Professional, you will work independently and with autonomy to highly please our customers. POSITION SUMMARY
Initiates and executes field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Creates and maintains safe working environment and cultures within the organization
Takes care of company property
Proactively trouble shoots systems for mechanical, electrical equipment conditions
Anticipates and corrects safety issues - both company and customer owned equipment
Direct interfacing with customer
May be responsible for work in multiple systems, locations or customers
Provides coaching or training to entry-level technicians

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
FORMAL EDUCATION:
Required:
HS diploma or equivalent
Industry specific licenses preferred
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
Ability to obtain TWIC card
Ability to coach and training entry-level technicians
2-5 years technical experience including industrial or commercial process water experience
Experience with Microsoft office including smart devices
Must have customer service experience
Demonstrates critical thinking and trouble shooting ability
Able to pass a credit check
Able to obtain a CDL class A or B with applicable endorsements
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:
Able to operate a company vehicle
