As a Senior Strategist, Customer Insights, you will identify key customer segments that require greater understanding and create a new approach to generating/sharing customer insights. You'll be part of the corporate strategy at a company passionate about improving the lives of our customers. This is a new role within a growing, collaborative group of global research and insight professionals.

Inside the Job
Your day-to-day work will involve:
- Conducting market research to better understand customer demographics and needs
- Creating customer segmentation models and user personas
- Communicating key findings to assist Herman Miller Group in better serving various customer types
- Collaborating with other members of the Global Research and Insights team to assist in topical research project
- Working to better understand the needs of internal stakeholders
What You Bring
Needed skills and experience for this role include:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Seven to ten years of experience
- A history of deeply understanding customer needs and communicating those needs to improve customer outcomes.
- Previous experiences that are highly customer-centric, focused on understanding and problem-solving rather than promotion
- An interest in creatively addressing customer needs rather than simply finding a market for pre-existing solutions
- Empathy, curiosity, and an innate desire to improve their lives of customers through greater understanding
- Primary and secondary research skills to gain important insights
- Strategic thinking and the ability to synthesize large amounts of information
- Good communication skills to share insights and promote understanding of customer needs
