Position Summary
The Department of Political Science invites outstanding candidates from political science to apply for an Assistant Professor/Assistant Instructor/Instructor - Fixed Term position. Responsibilities and duties include teaching one or more online undergraduate courses in political science. We seek candidates in particular, to offer introductory and upper-division courses in American politics, law and courts, comparative politics, international relations, and political theory. The position begins on May 16, 2020 and is on an AY appointment for Summer 2020 semester (ending August 15, 2020)

Doctorate
Minimum Requirements
MA or higher in Political Science
Previous online teaching experience in Political Science
Previous experience with Desire2Learn, Michigan State University''s online learning management software
