Position: Nursing Assistant – Care Support
Reports To: Nurse(s) On Duty and Director of Nursing
Schedule: PRN Nights
Position Location/Department: Emergency Room and Medical-Surgical
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Performs a variety of fundamental direct patient care and environmental procedures under the supervision of the RN in both Emergency Department and Medical –Surgical Department based on department census/patient acuity.
• Performs a variety of clerical duties involved in preparing, maintaining, and processing patient, unit(s) and hospital data and records to include operating the organization’s patient care information systems.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
