Responsibilities
Job Family Specific Responsibilites:
Completes the design of complex stand alone and integrated Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems that integrate hardware and software.
Performs complex technical interchange and knowledge transfer for both processes and application of products to system design.
Develop and Review Project/Component Specification Documentation
Utilize AutoCAD and Custom drafting tools for System Layout and Design
Work with Customers on Full System Design, Approval, and Acceptance
Create vendor and sub-contractor requirements and tasks
Generate commissioning checklists and as-built drawing packages
Perform System Emulation Analysis and Review
Assist in Project and Contract Negotiations
Aid Project Management in Commissioning Plans and Schedules
Support Site Personnel in System Startup and Go-Live Implementation
Participate in Company ISO Quality Processes
Completes recommendations for ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction.
Any other duties assigned by the company.

Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, or related field
2-5 years engineering experience.
3-5 years applications experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience with material handling equipment systems in a warehouse.
Experience in Material Handling Automation equipment, preferably AGVs, Pallet Conveyor, and/or AS/RS.
Experience in WMS, WCS, or Control Level Software.
Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments.
Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization.
Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues.
Understanding of how to optimize warehouse operations.
Understanding of warehouse management software systems.
Computer skills: AutoCAD, Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
Ability to work well within a team environment.
Strong organizational skills.
Self-starter who will take initiative to identify issues and pursue resolutions.
