We are looking for a Scheduling Coordinator who is responsible for supporting the scheduling process for test equipment manufacturing, including fabrication, Tool Room, purchased materials, and outside services while physically moving material through the shop staging it for the next operation sequence.
Main Responsibilities Include:
- Utilize Epicor ERP system to prepare schedules for the fabrication and machining departments.
- Load new jobs in the MRP system and input the manufacturing operations for completing each detail.
- Maintain schedules for multiple projects and input work performed to track progress to plan.
- Predict workload, and forecast deliveries as required to ensure all materials are available and on time
- Monitor inventory process to ensure availability of all required purchased and manufactured components.
- Interface with Operations, Engineering, and Sales to resolve scheduling concerns.
- Prepare shippers and coordinate shipments to outside service suppliers.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 3+ years’ hands-on experience with machine shop equipment sufficient to process details per design tolerances.
- 3+ years’ experience read and understand engineering drawings including section views.
- Broad knowledge of scheduling systems, principles, and methods.
- Strong computer skills with working knowledge of basic Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills: verbal, written & interpersonal.
- Highly organized and disciplined work ethic.
- Scheduling experience.
Other:
- This position is in a manufacturing environment and will involve hands-on work with tools and testing equipment. Physical activity will include lifting (up to 50 lbs.), bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity.
