SIPs Wrapper

Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that all pallets of SIPs are staged and wrapped according to order specifications and are properly protected from potential carrier damage. This position is responsible for the staging and wrapping of finished products to ready for shipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Properly band products and pallets using the packaging work instructions
- Work with shipping to ensure all pallets are banded and wrapped by carrier pick up times
- Keep all packaging materials complete and stocked throughout the shift
- Place proper labeling on wrapped product
- Wrap product utilizing shrink wrapping methods
- Ensure and verify inventory is accurate and bundled properly
- Operates hi-lo and overhead cranes
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience
- Knowledge of wrapping methods
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Travel
This position requires minimal to no travel
Computer Skills
- Basic computer skills
- Demonstrated proficiency using EPICOR ERP or similar systems
Other Requirements
- Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Able to walk and stand for 8-10 hours daily
- Able to comfortably kneel, bend, crouch, reach and stretch
- Able to communicate effectively with other team members
- Able to operate hi-lo and overhead cranes
- Strong attention to detail

- Basic construction skills
- Basic math skills
- Woodworking/carpentry experience preferred
