Join the Communications team trusted with building and protecting the reputation of a proven global business leader. At Stellantis, we are looking for a strategic, results-oriented story teller who will support corporate, financial and dealer network communications.
A key position on the Corporate Communications team, the Manager of Corporate Financial and Sales (Dealer) Network Communications is responsible for handling the day-to-day media queries associated with the Company's sales, dealer activities as well as financial situation as well as participating in long-term communication planning. The ideal candidate intuitively understands the power of media relations, is flexible and can set strong strategic direction.This position will manage media relations activities related to regulatory filings, quarterly and annual financial reporting as well as sales reporting and network developments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying, planning, adapting, executing and measuring media opportunities, such as media briefings, backgrounders and interviews that support and enhance the Company's reputation
- Help build and maintain relationships with key media, especially general business, financial and automotive media
- Develop media readiness plans to respond to risks and balance or mitigate negative news coverage by leveraging strong media skills and relationships
- Partner with Investor Relations team to coordinate the development and timing of messages for all external audiences
- Work closely with the sales and dealer network teams to promote activities of our 2,600 U.S. dealers
- Serve as company spokesperson
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field
- Must have 10 plus years in corporate communications, agency or reporting environment primarily in financial communications
- Must possess outstanding verbal and written skills; have full understanding of media needs, be adaptable and have ability to manage messages in crisis situations
- Strong working knowledge of financial regulatory and compliance issues as well as a proven track record working in or with large, publicly-traded companies
- Bring command of measurement, social media to advance company reputation
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA
- Must show good business judgment and have the ability to juggle many issues at once
- Ability to prioritize and problem solve
- Proven experience in project management - must be detail oriented and have excellent time management skills
- Ability to develop interview prep materials, conduct interview prep sessions with senior leadership
- Strong ability to advance media relations outcomes through a social media and data driven mindset
