Come work for the largest equipment dealer in the Midwest! Are you a Technician/Mechanic with auto, diesel, agricultural, material handling, lift truck or heavy equipment repair experience? If so, then we want you on our team!

Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements along with all accompanying footnotes for filing the Form 10-Q and 10-K. Provide support on other SEC filings such as Form 8-K, proxies, as needed
• Assist in drafting documents, ensuring quality, and coordinating review by management, legal counsel and independent auditors, while adhering to strict timelines.
• Conduct accounting technical research and write technical position memos/white papers for accounting and disclosure matters.
• Monitor and research new GAAP and SEC pronouncements, evaluate the impact to the company, assisting in the implementation of new business, accounting and financial reporting processes
• Assist in providing technical expertise to the organization on the treatment of accounting issues, implementation of new accounting standards and compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC, and PCAOB regulations.
• Assist in identification of internal accounting technical issues, provide sustainable improvements, suggest corrective actions, coordinate implementation and track efficiencies achieved.
• Responsible for the preparation of the journal entries and reconciliations as assigned per the month end close checklist
• Responsible for the review of assigned account reconciliations per the month end close checklist
• Assist in audit processes by maintaining and providing supporting documentation and explanation for financial information.
• Assist in the performance of internal control activities.
• Perform ad-hoc accounting analysis and projects as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree (B.A. /B.S.) or equivalent in accounting or related discipline.
• Three to five years related experience with at least two of the required years with a national or regional CPA firm and/or public company with consolidation.
• CPA highly preferred.
• Ability to appropriately handle confidential matters
• Knowledge of accounting policies and procedures including U.S. GAAP, SEC, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities; self-directed, with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Attention to detail to ensure accuracy is critical.
