Stellantis is currently seeking a Consolidation Analyst to work in our Corporate Finance Control and Accounting group based out of Auburn Hills, MI
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform financial consolidations in the Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) system to support external and internal reporting under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Facilitate various consolidation activities related to the monthly accounting close of actual results, under various consolidation reporting structures and must be able to calculate and record complex accounting consolidation entries under the various structures
- Prepare consolidation journal entries, account reconciliations and supporting reports
- Administer the HFM consolidations system, including maintaining mapping from the transaction system (SAP) to the reporting system (HFM), processes, user access, and testing system upgrades
- Support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and external/internal audit procedures related to financial consolidations
- Provide HFM assistance to other teams throughout accounting and finance through providing ongoing training, along with supporting special projects, process improvements and ad hoc requests
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, if no Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, must have a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Accounting designation
- Minimum 5 years experience in Accounting or Finance
- Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications including advanced experience using Excel
- Strong Accounting working knowledge
- Ability to work under pressure and in a time constrained environment
- Overtime required at quarterly and year-end closes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent
- MBA or Masters in Accounting or Finance
- Experience with SAP and Hyperion Enterprise and /or Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) or Experience with the consolidation of financial results and financial reporting
- Team oriented with excellent communications skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong problem-solving skills with a bias for action and issue resolution
- Knowledge of IFRS Accounting Standards
- Experienced with business intelligence tools such as Qlik Sense or similar
