Applicants will be considered for any Production Assistant Class 1 type opening in any department that may include, but not limited to, mobile equipment operation, machine setup, metal detector checks, mixer operation, lock out tag out operation, processing, packing, box making, pocket loading, and/or labeling, mixing pre-blends, recipe management, material checks, stacking, inspection, racking, rack pushing, data input, code dating, machine cleaning, floor cleaning, sanitizing equipment parts, high pressure water hose operation, and chemical usage. Other tasks include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, kneeling, squatting, and reaching. Candidate must be willing to lift, push, carry in many areas on the production floor (weight depends on area; ranging from 20 - 50 pounds). Candidate must be able to work in cold and/or damp environments and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces. Candidate must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
