JOB DESCRIPTION
Description Summary
- Performs general accounting duties, financial analyses, various administrative duties.
Responsibility
- Reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts-Resolve discrepancies in timely manner
- Coordinate with internal employees to investigate and resolve AP/AR issues
- Maintains various monthly close process checklists
- Prepare and perform Monthly Sox Testing
- Timely submission and management of PO's for Plant purchasing, coordinating with various departments on status updates
- Review Weekly Freight charges for anomalies
- Assist in various month end duties, such as Posting and verifying accuracy of JE's, preparing accruals, etc
- Various Administrative duties to support finance/plant functions
- Assist Plant Controller with various Ad Hoc Tasks
Qualifications Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or two to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals, etc..
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Speak effectively with Suppliers and/or employees of our organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- SAP Experience Preferred
- Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) experience Preferred
