Responsibilities
Dematic is currently searching for a Corporate IT Applications Engineer to join our growing Information Technology team in Atlanta, GA; Grand Rapids, MI; or any of our other Dematic Regional Offices. This role reports to the IT Manager, Enterprise Applications. The primary responsibilities for this individual would be to support software applications & integrations working within a global integrated IT environment. Essential Role and Responsibilities
Drive application direction, development and enhancements in alignment with Dematic IT application landscape roadmap, business requirements, support strategy, KION Group IT security standards
Contribute and support strategic/technical evaluation of software application capabilities and validity in Dematic IT roadmap on an ongoing basis
Participate in the Global IT Change Control Board to review and/or present requests for modifications related to applications and/or related infrastructure dependencies.
As a system administrator, expert for your application(s), you will be responsible for your application environment(s) and quality design, maintenance and release process including:
Production and non-production environment(s)
Configuration, Coding, validation and release
Integrations, relational data modelling as appropriate
Data integrity/cleansing
User Community engagement, acceptance testing
Work closely with technical teams to enhance quality of existing applications
Train first level support teams as appropriate, responsible for escalations and customer inquiries- technical issues.
Preparation of documentation for deliverables, ensure appropriate prioritization, status reporting, escalation and closure of outstanding issues.
Create software usage procedures, processes and standards
Qualifications
Qualification Requirements
Bachelors degree, preferably in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
Typically, 5 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.
5 years experience administrating Wrike
Experience in JavaScript, Python, SQL, VB coding languages
Experience in Six Sigma or Lean Training, with a track record for execution on lean strategy preferred.
Expert in Data Management, relational database structures, data / system integration
Considerable knowledge of the preparation and presentation of dashboards / reports containing project delivery elements and operating metrics.
Strong organizational, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills.
Superior written, verbal and presentation skills.
Customer service orientated.
Exceptional leadership, relationship development and influencing skills.
Ability to analyze and interpret critical path, draw conclusions and prepare clear and concise analyses and recommendations.
ITIL or similar certifications preferred.
PMP certification preferred.
