In this role, you will collaborate with various enterprise IT teams to ensure projects and technology initiatives are performed according to cybersecurity standards. You will also advise IT partners, business stakeholders, and global colleagues regarding cybersecurity practices and initiatives. Inside the Job
Your day-to-day work will involve:
- Making an impact: Help change the security posture of the organization and develop enterprise perspectives on cybersecurity's contribution to our success
- Assessing and prioritizing: Conduct application software, network, system and device security assessments and guide the implementation of resolutions
- Managing security: Perform technical and non-technical cybersecurity reviews, identify gaps in security architecture, and develop security risk management plans
- Handling intrusions: Work as a member of the incident management and response team to identify, capture, contain, and report malware and active intrusions
What You Bring
Needed skills and experience for this role include:
- A Bachelor's degree in an Information Security-related field
- Two or more years of progressive cybersecurity experience
- Preferred certifications include: Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CompTIA Security+, Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security
- Experience interpreting and applying regulatory requirements such as SOX and PCI
- Demonstrated application of system, network, and OS hardening techniques
- Knowledge of network security architecture concepts including topology, protocols, components, and principles
- Experience with cybersecurity and privacy principles used to manage risks related to the use, processing, storage, encryption and transmission of sensitive information
- Ability to think critically to dissect complex issues, exercise good judgment, and communicate effectively
