Are you looking for a fast paced position in a dynamic sales environment? As a Sales Representative on our Chain Accounts team, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service while supporting order and delivery interactions between chain account customers (you know, those restaurants that everyone knows by name!), and Gordon Food Service. This role strengthens customer relationships through strong product knowledge and product application, delivery coordination, and error resolution. This role is a great introduction to Gordon Food Service and allows you to gain experience within, and a better understanding of the food service distribution industry!
What you'll be doing:
- Answer customer questions and play detective to help solve their problems - you'll work with every part of the company!
- Manage customer orders so they get what they need
- Arrange exception deliveries - we don't want anyone missing out on great food!
- Help train your teammates; it makes everyone better!
Does this sound like you?
- High School Diploma or Equivalent - Required
- Two years previous customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Required to rotate through weekend coverage; may perform some work at home if needed
- Proficient with technology, including data entry
