If you are mechanically inclined and looking for a new career opportunity, we can train you to be a four slide operator and technician in the metal forming industry.
You will learn how to:
· Operate four slide machinery and adjust or repair to maintain production tolerances.
· Perform hourly checks on parts to verify tolerance
· Load coils of material as needed using forklift. (Forklift training will be provided)
· Learn the aspects of quality control with the use of micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, load testers and understanding visual inspections on parts etc.
· Training on the ability to adjust hole location on parts, adjusting slides to part specs, feeding material into machine, and loading onto pay off reel
· Instruction on the proper maintenance/cleaning of machinery as needed.
· Guidance on machine troubleshooting, reading blueprints and problem solving
· You will be required to follow safety guidelines and use precautions when setting up and operating machinery.
Full Time Day Shift Schedule: Monday through Thursday 5:45 am - 4:15 pm
Full Time Night Shift Schedule: Monday through Thursday 4:30 pm- 3 am.
Friday and Saturday overtime scheduled as needed
