Description Herman Miller's Summer Internship Program is a paid, 12-week opportunity that provides a 100% real-world experience for students early in their career. Throughout the summer you will apply academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
As a Writer/Editorial Intern, you will collaborate with teams across the business to develop customer-focused tools for marketing Herman Miller's brand, products, and services.

Inside the Job
Your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to developing strong editorial content
- Translating marketing objectives into effective campaigns and communications
- Working with marketing partners to understand audiences and inspire them through relevant and meaningful content
- Researching, understanding, advocating for, and preserving Herman Miller's brand, points of view, and voice.
- Gaining on-the-job work experience aligned with your career goals.
What You Bring
Needed skills and experience for this role include:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in design, business, and the ways in which they intersect
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility and collaboration
- Enrollment in and pursuit of a four-year Bachelor's degree in in English, Creative Writing, Media Communications, or a related field from an accredited college or university, and able to provide transcripts upon request. You need a GPA of at least a 3.0 (cumulative or within your program) to qualify for consideration
- Favorable academic standing within your current academic program
- Authorization to work in the United States.
