Position Summary:The Staffing Scheduler role is fast-paced and growth-oriented. The successful candidate will maintain scheduling responsibilities for all Operations employees in the plant. The scope will include, but not be limited to production scheduling and management of the job bid process.Position Responsibilities:- Provide functional expertise and support the Operations department
- Provide scheduling support to all Operations employees of the plant
- Manage job bid process and temporary transfer in accordance with collective bargaining agreement
- Adhere to established HR processes and procedures and collective bargaining agreement provisions
- Prioritize multiple projects adhering to deadlines
- Complete special projects and duties
- Flexible with personal work schedule; able to work overtime as required, including weekends
- Maintain compliance with local, state and federal laws
Education:- High School Diploma or GED, required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field, preferred
Skills required:- Strong communication skills; verbal and written
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Solid problem solving, project management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills
- Results oriented with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ability to work under pressure and to react to situations with a strong sense of urgency
- Detail oriented, organized, reliable and resourceful
- Demonstrate leadership ability and work effectively within a team environment
- 1 to 3 years' experience in related field preferred
- Prior experience in unionized industrial environment preferred
Accountability- This position will report directly to the Operations Manager and will collaborate extensively with Team Production Leadership. Partner closely with the Human Resources and Produce Receiving departments to coordinate scheduling needs and resources.
