Medical Biller
The Medical Biller is responsible for coordinating billing procedures for agency services, and processing reimbursements from Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance companies and private pay.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in a business-related field and/or Certificate in medical billing/coding preferred, with experience in Medicaid, Medicare, third-party insurance and private pay billing required.
- Individual must be able to demonstrate data entry and general clerical skills, along with advanced knowledge of reimbursement rules pertaining to billing of Specialty Mental Health services.
- Prefer working knowledge of ICD9/10, HCPC, CPT, UB04, CMS1500, and CMS standards.
Pay Rate
Pay range of $18.90 - $22.67 per hour plus exceptional benefits including employer sponsored insurance, pension and training.
