DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The LabTechnician/ supervisor is responsible for operating the labs dealing but notlimited to part quality and checks: Cleanliness testing, part layouts, PPAPrequests, samples, and others as needed. Along with managing maintaining the lab and equipment and enforcingfacility environmental policies, practices and procedures to comply with companypolicies.

REQUIREMENTS:Responsibilities:
- Performs required cleanliness tests/analysis per quality plan.
- Maintains lab quality plans.
- Maintains logs and reports on all cleanliness information
- Maintains logs for annual part requirements per customers
- Ensures calibration and proper operation of laboratory equipment
- Audits lab procedures and methods to ensure proper results
- Reports and logs test results, prepares material certifications, customer documentation and or internal documentation
- Trains/ evaluates lab technicians
- Provides knowledge of electrochemical and material prep process and product with ability to troubleshoot
- Requests/monitors maintenance support necessary to maintain laboratory and cleanliness functions.
- Prepares reports for PPAPs, annuals, and samples for QSL Lab
EDUCATION:
- AssociateDegree quality tech or related experience
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 2-4 years as quality lab tech, 1-2 years supervisory experience
- Knowledge of quality lab equipment
- Computer skills - Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes preferred
- Communication skills
- Knowledge of PPAP documentation
