RotationalDevelopment Program Details
Tenneco's Rotational Development Programs prepare highly talented entry levelprofessionals to assume future leadership roles in fast-paced, results-drivendisciplines. The programs are designed to equip participants with a broadoverview of the company, business units and functional areas. Assignmentstaking place in plant, technical and/or corporate environments. The rotationalprogram consists of two-three locations with multiple assignments, with eachlocation assignment lasting approximately 12-18 months.
Theassignments will increase in their level of responsibility and complexity, andinvolve working closely with all levels of leadership within the company. A critical component of the rotational program is participation in business andleadership training initiatives, both formal and experiential, to broaden yourunderstanding of Tenneco's business environment. This program also developscritical leadership skills and will establish a professional network needed tosupport your career growth.
Commercial Sales & Marketing Rotational Program
Once you start your career in Commercial Sales & Marketing, you will play a vitalrole in the day to day activities encompassing vendor relationships, supplierquality, sourcing, relationship building, competitive analysis, transportationand logistics. This program is specifically designed to give our new commercial sales & marketing professionals the critical skills and industry experienceneeded to establish a sound future of success and development. Upon completionof the rotational program, these employees will have the knowledge and"real world" experience needed to make informed decisions about theirfuture career progression.

Whatyou'll be doing:
General:
-Learning how major Automotive companies such as Ford, GM, FCA, Toyota, Nissan, Harley Davidson and other Commercial Truck and Off-Highway equipment manufacturers run their sourcing process and make sourcing decisions.
-Developing the skills to quote and negotiate new business awards and design changes tailored to each customer's unique culture and supplier strategy.
-Building relationships to influence sourcing decisions
-Working in a cross functional team to manage the commercial requirements for an automotive program from design development, through award, launch, and ongoing change management (cradle to grave)
-Developing Market Research and Competitive analysis
-Utilizing OEM supplier portals, websites and databases to communicate critical customer information to the rest of the Tenneco organization
-Learning Tenneco's manufacturing and cost estimating / quoting processes
-Being the Voice of the Customer to the rest of the Tenneco organization
REQUIREMENTS:ProgramRequirements:
Educational requirements: Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Purchasing orrelated field (i.e. Business Administration, Industrial Operations, etc.) witha minimum GPA of 3.0.Current Class Level: Senior or Graduate. *The program will start in 2021*
Experience/Requirements:
Permanent workauthorization in the U.S. (No sponsorship is available for these positions)
Interest in automotive industry
Co-op or internship assignments required
One sales or marketing related internship experience is stronglypreferred
Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven track record of accomplishments both inside and outside of theeducational setting
Ability to establish and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Experience in a leadership role; guiding and directing a team towards a commongoal
Basic understanding of financial principles
Required to relocate up to 4 times within the first 4 years of employment
