Detailed Description:
- Handle all aspects of electrical design, programming and implementation to include: conceptual design, functional specification, materials specification (electrical / pneumatic), materials requisition, CAD design, software design, software implementation, system commissioning, customer relations, as-built documentation, and work change orders. In short, assume responsibility for projects, as assigned, to ensure technical correctness, performance to budget and schedule, and customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate a proficiency in the use of Allen-Bradley’s RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000, Factory Talk Suite and AutoCAD.
- Some travel to client’s job site, as required, for engineering and / or system commissioning purposes.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering
- Three years of experience with a focus on Controls Engineering
- Able to travel 20 - 45%
- Experience with PLC and HMI programming utilizing RSLogix 500/5000 and RSView32 and/or FactoryTalk View ME/SE Studio. Basic understanding of the Allen-Bradley Logix hardware platform.
