DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tenneco is looking for a Co-opStudent for our Ignition Engineering department for the
Winter 2021 term. The Co-op will provide service andsupport for test and development activities. Responsibilities may involvetesting, software, design, analysis, and engineering. Position will work with laboratory,test, and manufacturing equipment, as well as interacting with Advance Process Engineers,Applications Engineers, and others based at technical facilities, remotelocations, and manufacturing plants.
An ideal candidate for this position is in pursuit of a degree in Software or Engineering,demonstrates courteous, responsive, and professional behavior, enjoys hands-onwork, exceeds project requirements, and puts engineering knowledge intopractice by engaging in technical discussions and offering insights andrecommendations.
RESPONSIBILITIESOperate, support, and procure laboratory equipment and tools.
Observe, troubleshoot, debug, and improve laboratory equipment and software.
Setup, monitor, and record laboratory tests.
Analyze and communicate test results using tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
Organize a variety of work assignments, complete projects efficiently, and demonstrate results.
REQUIREMENTS:SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Software, mechanical, and electrical troubleshooting
Data analysis and reporting
Computer programming, especially object oriented paradigms and LabVIEW or C# languages
EDUCATION
Enrolled in B.S. program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
AVAILABILITY
Student should be available and is expected work 40 hours a week during standard business hours for this role.
