Status: Full-Time (32 hrs/week)
Shift: 2nd Shift (2pm-10:15pm)
Wage: LPN starting wage no experience $23.15; RN starting wage no experience $27.65 (wage is dependent on experience level)
Hiring Bonus: This position has a $2000 hiring bonus! The hiring bonus will be paid out in two installments. The first half will be paid out to you upon successful completion of your training. The second half will be paid out to you once you have been working for us for 6 months.
Schedule: *This position requires every other weekend, both Saturday and Sunday.

Job Description: RN / LPN – Charge Nurse
As a RN / LPN - Charge Nurse at Brookcrest, you will serve the residents by providing direct nursing care and supervise the daily nursing activities provided by CNAs.
An RN / LPN - Charge Nurse is expected to:
- Distribute resident medications and provide treatments
- Supervise, educate, and communicate resident daily nursing care needs given by CNA staff
- Assess and evaluate resident needs and changes in care
- Note physician’s orders and maintain resident care plans
Qualifications: RN / LPN – Charge Nurse
- Nursing license to practice in the state of Michigan required
- 1 year or more experience in long term care a plus
