Responsible for supervising and leading a team in an aggressive preventative maintenance, comprehensive inspection, and diagnosis and repair program.
Provide technical advice to ensure effective operations of trailer maintenance, repair and reconditioning including service, quality inspections, warranty issues, problem-solving, troubleshooting, public relations and day-to-day operations.
Requirements/Skills
- Minimum (5+) years relevant work experience preferably running a Truck/Trailer Repair & Service Center
- Strong Mechanical & Technical aptitude or related experience in a shop environment
- Proficiency with trailer, equipment and/or fleet maintenance diagnosis and repair
- Must have the ability to plan, budget, schedule and supervise multiple projects from concept to completion
- Working knowledge of trailer maintenance, DOT and OSHA regulations.
- BSA (Business Administration) Degree, but relevant work and proven qualified years of experience can offset.
- Problem solving and analytical ability
- Strong business communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) effectively
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
