Reports to: Shift Supervisor
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate with preceding Material Handler concerning material, lot numbers, mold changes, etc.
- Keep molding area clean.
- Ensures that proper raw material and grinders are at the machine.
- Clean hoppers and grinders during mold changes.
- Label hoppers, grinders, and dryers with the proper material identification and lot number.
- Inform the Quality Control department of any lot number changes prior to actual change.
- Complete material usage reports.
- Keep dryers, hoppers, and grinders at a level to maintain production. Assure that regrind percentages and concentrate ratios are mixed as specified.
- Inform the Shift Foreman when raw material inventories are low.
- Place all unused materials in the “Return to Warehouse” staging area.
- Inform Maintenance of any damage equipment. Perform other job duties as assigned by the Foreman or Management.
SHARED RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain appearance/cleanliness of material usage staging area.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Entry level position, no experience required.
- Completion of Internal Davalor Training.
- Prefer a high school diploma or completion of GED program.
Tasks and/or Duties which may be required on a constant and consistent basis, include, but are not limited to:
- Clipping parts from runners, repetitive wrist movement and grasping of the hand.
- Bending at the waist and knees.
- Sitting for extended periods of time.
- Standing for extended periods of time.
- Walking
- Twisting and/or turning
- Lifting, carrying and/or moving boxes and/or bins that weigh up to 40 lbs.
- Stacking of parts
- Visual, detailed inspection of small parts for an extended period of time
- Trimming parts
- Arriving to work on time everyday scheduled
· Able to follow written/oral instructions.
