Job Number: R0090153
Security Specialist
The Challenge:
Are you searching for a position where you can use your program analysis skills to make a difference? A program requires a significant investment of limited resources across multiple projects. With that level of complexity, you need a skilled program analyst examining how those resources are used and keeping the program on the path to success. That's why we need you, a program analyst who can ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.
We have an opportunity for a program analyst to join our team as we coordinate and monitor the administration of personnel, information, and operations security programs and interpret and apply security plans and policy analysis to support a US Army client's operations security (OPSEC) plan. You'll monitor cost, schedule, and performance of multiple projects and have regular interactions with customers, military, DoD civilians, and contract personnel. In this role, you will ensure personnel are trained in techniques to protect themselves and the public they serve, administering an information security (INFOSEC) program to ensure the safeguarding of national security information. You'll conduct regular security survey inspections to ascertain organizational adequacy and conformance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The real power of program analysis comes from communication, so you'll create, develop and implement programs designed to protect classified and sensitive unclassified defense information, material, personnel, operations, and facilities from compromise, unauthorized disclosure, and espionage and make experience-based recommendations for improvement to program leadership. We focus on growing as a team, so you'll share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring. This is a chance to directly improve the security and safeguarding of national security information for the US Army.
