The Performance Analyst leads and supports all aspects of the IT performance measurement processes and performs various analysis for the IT organization. This role will provide leadership in integrating and educating on lean tools and concepts to enable IT to deliver and achieve their strategic and operational objectives through continuous improvement efforts and data driven decisions.
Responsibilities
CE Way, Waste Elimination and Cost Optimization
- Provide coaching and support on all aspects of business plan deployment: Plan, Do, Check, Act
- Embrace, educate and drive adoption of the CE Way (lean operating system) framework to foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Identify, track and educate on Waste Elimination framework to develop capability across organization
- Track and report on Cost Optimization across the IT Organization
- Utilize problem solving and root cause analysis to help identify gaps and improve processes
- Implement standards for effective and efficient operating reviews and visual management
- Drive the quality and completion of action items and countermeasures to help ensure desired business results are achieved
UNITE Benchmark
- Lead the IT benchmark initiatives including data collection and deep dive analysis to inform action plans and decision making
- Coordinate the UNITE survey process by identifying the subject matter experts, review for quality and submit surveys by deadline
- Serve as a resource for the UNITE Consortium (Utility IT Benchmark Program consisting of 20 utility companies). As a member of UNITE's Core Team, you will execute on the strategy defined by the Utility Leadership Council and member CIO's.
- Assess the effectiveness of the UNITE Benchmarking process and implement improvements
Analysis
- Deliver insights and data analysis to inform strategic investments, people, and operational decisions
- Lead and/or participate in various initiatives across IT to drive improved business outcomes through strong collaboration
Other responsibilities include:
- Create, manage and maintain departments sites and IT's digital wall to provide transparency of goal progression and achievement
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of related experience

Lead matrixed teams across IT portfolios and align with multiple levels of management; work across all aspects of IT to drive out CE Way improvements, Waste Elimination, Cost Optimization and Best Practice information required to support business processes; develop sound analysis that supports data driven decisions; communicate findings at all levels of the organization, gather required data from various individuals, and present results; document and maintain standard processes; perform duties in a professional manner and collaborate with others; establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers and outside peers; regular attendance and adherence to prescribed work schedule to conduct job responsibilities; observe safe work practices and safety methods; perform other duties as assigned.
Hours and Travel
Occasional travel required to attend off-site business meetings, training sessions and travel between company locations. Meet travel requirements of the position. Work a flexible schedule when required, which may include evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime.
