DUTIES:The Produce Receiving Seasonal will assist in preparing drums for dumping produce. This position will be responsible for ensuring that all products received are properly recorded and stored. This is an outside position and may require heavy labor. Hourly pay rate $12/hour. Positions available for 1st shift: 5 a.m. until 1 p.m. and 2nd shift 1 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. (includes $0.25/hr. shift premium).RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must ensure safety procedures are followed.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull loads exceeding 50 pounds constantly throughout the work shift.
- Must have ability to climb stairs.
- Must work closely with Tankyard Supervisors and Crewleaders.
- Ensure surrounding areas are kept neat and sanitary.
- Adapt to changing situations and be able to establish priorities.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, Crewleaders, Supervisors, and QA lab.
- Must be dependable, self-motivated, and maintain an acceptable attendance record.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as; safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ensure actions are consistent with and support plant safety goals and procedures.
