Will you answer* GROUP/DIVISION With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA s metrology and inspection products, is looking for forward-thinking research scientists, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers to join our team and enable the movement towards advanced chip design. Central Engineering is KLA's largest engineering organization comprised of several Centers-of-Excellence (CoE) in various disciplines applied across all product groups in the company. These CoE include Handling & Automation, Precision Motion Control, Sensors & Image Acquisition, Platform Design, and Packaging Engineering, among others. Our group includes over 700 engineers across global centers in Israel, China, India, and the US. Each CoE contributes not just talent and deliverables toward product programs, but also domain expertise, roadmaps, specialized facilities, apparatus, models, and analytics. These differentiate KLA not only in WHAT we do, but also in HOW we do it. RESPONSIBILITIES The Ann Arbor R&D Facility will be home to the AI and Physics Modeling Center of Excellence. In this role, the candidate will be expected to manage a team of scientists working on AI Solutions in semiconductor domain, and also work with partner teams outside of Ann Arbor to realize the KLA vision for this area. Successful candidate will have the following attributes: First and foremost, a widely respected technical leader. Functional, hands on experience working in all of the following areas: 1. Signal Processing or Image Processing. 2. Traditional Machine Learning. 3. Deep Learning. 4. Challenges associated with Industrial AI. 5. Challenges associated with hybrid Physics and AI based solutions. Accelerate collaboration between local and remote team members. He should also promote collaboration across team boundaries among local teams. Force multiplier for the remote product leads who may be in remote locations She should be a respected peer whom the stakeholder can depend on to scale their own bandwidth, both technically and for people management. Manager should develop a product independent technology and platform roadmap that accelerates future algo development.
