Campus: Rose Garden
Location: Grandville, MI
Status: Part-Time (10 hrs/week)
Shift: 1st/2nd Shift (3pm-7:30pm on weekdays & 10am-4pm on weekends)
Wage: $11.00 (experience considered)
Schedule: *This position may also require occasional Sunday Shifts
Week 1: | Monday 3:00pm – 7:30pm | Wednesday 3:00pm – 7:30pm |
Week 2: | Friday 3:00pm – 7:30pm | Saturday 10:00am – 4:00pm |

Job Description: Life Enrichment Aide
The primary purpose of the Life Enrichment Aide is to provide an ongoing program designed to meet and enhance each resident’s quality of life and functioning by providing physical, cognitive, psychological, spiritual and recreational programs. You are able to perform assigned duties in accordance with established procedures. As a Life Enrichment Aide, you are delegated the authority, responsibility and accountability necessary to carry out your assigned duties.
A Life Enrichment Aide is expected to assist in:
- Program planning, development, and execution.
- Program leadership/facilitation-large groups, small groups, sensory therapy and one to one visits.
- Completing documentation as required.
- Organizing and helping to implement plans for community outings.
A Life Enrichment Aide is expected to have these skills:
- Effective communication skills.
- Leadership skills for interacting with residents, families and volunteers, as well as facilitation of group programs.
- Displays flexibility and willingness to adapt to change.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Creativity and willingness to think outside the box.
Qualifications: Life Enrichment Aide
Minimum of High School Education. Desire to work with the elderly, and experience with working with special populations preferred. Previous Recreation Therapy or Activities experience a plus.
