Job Summary
Crowe is hiring for a Data Analyst within our Applied Technology - Tax team. The role focuses on data analysis, which entails interpreting complex data requests, retrieving the data utilizing T-SQL, visualizing the data in a way that makes sense for each request, and helping the stakeholders utilize the data.
Current Tasks
• Maintain current Tax analytic reports
• Handle ad-hoc requests for data export or analysis
• Expand curated PowerBI Datasets for business access
• Develop new insights into existing tax data
Future Tasks
• Collaborate to create an analytic standard across Tax
• Integrate PowerBI with 3rd party tools to expand tax datasets
• Explore creating curated analytical insights for external client users
Qualifications
• (required) 2+ years of T-SQL experience including utilizing aggregation
• (required - at least one, in order of decreasing preference) Experience with Data Visualization tools such as PowerBI, SQL Server Reporting Services, Tableau, Cognos
• (required) Strong analytical skills
• (required) A strong attention to detail, as well as the ability to step back and see the big picture
• (required) Works well collaborating with others
• (preferred) Experience consulting with external clients or stakeholders on data analytics needs
• (preferred) Experience with the direct support & cooperation with the applications end users and business teams
• (preferred) Experience with financial and accounting data
