This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Portfolio and Analytics Manager to join our expanding Marketing LPS division and play a pivotal in shaping our innovation direction. You will collaborate with Marketing, Product Development to create insightful divisional level portfolio reviews and executive level presentations informing leadership of product (active and historical) launch performance, returns on investment, and risk/reward balance. You will be responsible for best in class innovation portfolio analytics, metrics and data management, and effective reporting operating mechanism that drive timely key executive decisions. You will take a leading role in innovation planning, product roadmapping, and stage gate infrastructure improvement planning.
About the job
- Consolidate and analyze data sets to create impactful portfolio views of key portfolio metrics
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews with Sr. Leadership to understand current and improve future Product Development ROI
- Generate data analytic insights on trends, performance and formulate recommendations to strategically optimize portfolio
- Build and update scorecards to enable performance tracking and analysis to proactively bridge target gaps
- Ensure consistent reporting of integrated, accurate and robust performance scorecards and portfolio views
- Partner with Product Managers to plan, build, optimize multi-year and product roadmaps
- Manage innovation planning and funding process
- Improve stage gate product development process and underlying digital infrastructure eg. automation to improve launch efficiency
- Partner with corporate functions to influence and charter idea to product projects that improves product launch effectiveness
About you
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, biology, engineering or other related science. Master degree preferred.
- 5+ years of Portfolio, Product, Financial analysis and management experience, preferably in Life Science industry
- Able to influence and interface with tact across all levels of the organization from Sr. Management to peers to large global teams
- Highly organized and detailed oriented with ability to accurately consolidate, combine, and analyze different and complex data sets
- Strategic, independent, out of the box thinker able to analyze trends, draw conclusion, and formulate future investment actions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Able to present and summarize data and analysis in a coherent and compelling manner
- In-depth working knowledge of financials analysis and metrics
- Advanced MS Excel including pivot tables and formulas. Tableu, ThinkCell experience a plus
- Effective results oriented multi-tasker who can prioritize and deliver high quality work efficiently
- Excellent project management and process improvement skills
- Has a proactive, enthusiastic, positive attitude toward work and is equally comfortable as a team leader or team player
- Managerial experience a plus

- Willingness to travel internationally (~15%)
