Job Summary
Crowe is looking for a Product Owner within our Applied Technology practice. Responsibilities include:
- Gathers requirements from stakeholders and translates into user stories on the product backlog.
- Adds necessary details, designs, and acceptance criteria to prepare stories for refinement by the team.
- Leads sprint planning and refinement meetings for the team.
- Prepares for and prioritizes stories for the upcoming sprint.
- Reviews and approves stories that have passed QA in the sprint, making sure all acceptance criteria is met.
- Conducts sprint reviews with the team and product stakeholders.
- Actively works to understand end user needs to continually grow product and industry knowledge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Business Analyst or Product Owner role.
- PSPO, CSPO, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 1 year experience in an Agile development environment.
- Experience creating mockups/designs for development.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with delivery commitments and timelines.
- Proactive with excellent decision-making skills.
- Excellent communicator between stakeholders and the development team.

Applied Technology owns the software development competency for the firm, which is tied to standardized processes, practices, policies and controls for client-facing products and projects.
