Truck Driver Recruiter/Strategist - 786771
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Must have truck driver recruiting experience.
* Develop a truck driver recruitment strategy and process to execute.
* Communicate with candidates through all steps of the recruiting and onboarding process in order to recruit, select, and hire qualified individuals.
* Identify and incorporate industry trends and best practices in the recruiting and onboarding space to help improve efficiencies and secure driver satisfaction.
* Develop and execute various marketing strategies and campaigns to attract and retain talent.
* Make recruitment presentations and attend recruitment events, job fairs, seminars, and trade shows promoting the thyssenkrupp name to potential candidates.
* Work with all managers in transportation services to understand current staffing needs and provide updates on applicant status.
* Lead the creation and implementation of best practices, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and to improve staffing and onboarding performance.
* Conduct effective, thorough, and insightful candidate screens to make appropriate recommendations to hiring managers.
* Set-up and participate in interviews to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
* Initiate pre-employment process for selected candidates (background check, drug screen, DOT process, etc.).
* Perform other duties as assigned.
* Work as an integral member of the Corporate Human Resources Department to support the Company's workforce, perform best practices, and ensure compliance with FLSA requirements.
* Other related projects as assigned.
