Job Description
Eisenhower Center is a Traumatic Brain Injury rehabilitation facility. Eisenhower Center is seeking motivated and dynamic individual for our Maintenance Tech position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with construction preferred Â
Familiar with ADA Standards for Accessible Design is preferred
Must be able to lift at least 100 lbs.
Must have basic knowledge/experience of repairs in the following areas
Electrical, plumbing, heating, drywall, painting, grounds work and carpentry skillsÂ
Team oriented
Must be punctual and reliable
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for knowing and observing relevant fire and safety regulations, as well as being aware of and practicing infection control policies and procedures.
Be able to assist in facility emergencies (i.e. floods, snowstorms, physical plant damage or damage that is a safety hazard.)
Participate in a 3 person on-call rotation for after hour emergencies with back-up by Maintenance Supervisor.
Assist with maintaining parking lot and facility grounds on a regular basis; this includes trimming bushes, sweeping, grounds clean-up, winter snow removal and other related grounds work.
Must be able to paint walls, trim and outside building.
Driving off campus to purchase maintenance supplies or to take a facility vehicle in for service or pick up.
