Job Summary:
The Inventory/Data Entry Coordinator is primarily responsible for ensuring that inventory accuracy in the system is maintained through data entry and corrections, invoice audits, and operational support for the warehouse. Success in this role requires process navigation, system proficiency, and root cause analysis to identify issues and recommend preventative measures to increase the efficiency of warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be highly disciplined, self-motivated, and focused on accuracy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Understanding of inventory control functions and best practices within a warehouse environment
- Performs physical inventories, cycle counts, returns, audits, and reconciliations
- Ability to accurately count and verify product in the warehouse
- Maintains product identification and location standards
- Ensures all labeling requirements are met in a timely manner
- Documents and controls aged and damaged product through strict procedures
- Researches inventory discrepancies and makes necessary corrections in the system
- Continuously improves warehouse inventory processes by communicating with warehouse managers and supervisors
- Participates in the development and maintenance of inventory accuracy metrics and reports for management
- Resolves inventory problems in a timely manner
- Works well individually or within a group setting
- Manage several different projects at one time, able to multi-task efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and can complete tasks in allotted times
- Communicate effectively to both groups and individuals
- Works in a freezer and cooler with conditions anywhere from -10 to 35 degrees.(Proper gear supplied by Natural Choice Foods)
- Problem solves when assigned special projects without direct supervision

Work Environment:

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Typical days/hours of work will be Monday through Friday from 6 am to 3 pm, however, some flexibility may be required.
Required Educational Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-2 years of data entry experience
- Demonstrate high computer skills and creativity
- Be detail-oriented, honest, direct and able to handle more than one task at a time while managing
- one’s time effectively and maintaining a strong work ethic
- Ability to communicate effectively with all employees in all departments
- Strong data entry skills alpha and numeric
- Add and subtract numbers and to multiply and divide. Ability to perform these operations
- using weight measurements, quantity, volume and distance
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and urgency
- Ability to perform cycle counts locations and/or items in the warehouse
- Demonstrate good judgment and decision making skills
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Lift truck experience a plus, but will train as necessary
High proficiency in Excel Spreadsheets
