Position Summary:
The Guest Service Coordinator ensures the safety and security of Guests and Team Members by administering assigned social distancing protocols to ensure established safety standards are met. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Property standards, policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting Gun Lake Casino’s “Unsurpassed Service Standards” at all times.
- Follow current personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols.
- Ensure social distancing protocols are followed at Guest entrances.
- Assist internal and external Guests with check-in processes.
- Identify Tribal Citizens or VIP Guests in waiting areas and redirect to priority access.
- Assist Guests in the event of an emergency egress situation.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and privacy.
- Redirect Guests to the designated Guest entrance if they are seeking access through a locked entrance.
- Assist in keeping the Casino property (inside and outside) in clean state.
- Serve complimentary non-alcoholic beverages on an as needed basis.
- Answer any questions and provide information as needed for internal and external Guests.
- Assist with providing directions and access to Guest parking.
- Notify Security of any Guest concerns or interactions that require assistance.
- This position is non-gaming and is prohibited from performing any gaming related functions.
- Additional duties as assigned by management.
Essential Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
- Ability to read and understand oral and written instructions.
- Proficient communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess a High School diploma or GED.
- Must be 21+ years of age.
Physical Requirements:
- Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
- Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for duration of shift.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment for duration of shift.
- Ability to communicate using a two-way radio and telephone.
Work Conditions:
Work is typically in an area, which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain second hand smoke. Work may be performed in small areas with a 3 ft. wide access. Tasks performed from a non-sitting position. Team Members will be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull and grasp. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area. Work may entail trained chemical usage. Constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests.
