THIS IS A 3RD SHIFT OPENING.
SUMMARY:
You will establish and complete Preventive, Predictive, and Corrective Maintenance plans for the plants Blow Mold equipment, as well as perform additional mechanical and electrical Preventive Maintenance and repairs on other plant equipment. You will also participate in projects that span the spectrum of mechanical, electrical and PLC’s/controls, pneumatic, hydraulic, and welding.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Knowledge and understanding of electrical schematics and trouble shooting skills

- Knowledge of metal stamping equipment ,powder coat
- Knowledge of 480v 3phase electric ,hydraulics and pneumatics
- Knowledge of chiller and tower systems and pumps and repairs
- Knowledge of air compressor systems and preventive maintenance of systems
- Knowledge of robotics, roll forming and custom bending equipment
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
- Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required; Associates degree in construction, electrical or mechanical engineering or business preferred. Journeyman Certification a plus.
- Five (5) years of facilities coordination/maintenance experience.
- Excellent analytical and reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and computer applications at an intermediate level.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Good grammar and diction. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, percent and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
