Repack Supervisor
Full Time - 1st Shift
(Availability M-F)
Job Summary:
Responsible for maintaining the repacking unit while ensuring the accuracy of receiving and shipping of products and materials. Responsible for leading and motivating a successful team of repacking unit workers in all food compliance procedures, safety, and daily functions. Ensures all daily tasks are completed accurately and on time and follows thru with all appropriate parties. Ensures all processes are documented on time and accurately. Communicates with appropriate governing bodies.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Be responsible for production output and product quality
- Maintains repack staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
- Set expectations, provide support, and drive accountability for all direct reports
- Provide and/or coordinate training for employees, assess performance, and create development plans to support continuous improvement
- Completes repack operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and follows up on work results
- Ability to make sound decisions about scheduling, allocation of resources, managing priorities and escalating issues to management when appropriate
- A creative and open-minded individual who fosters an environment in which sharing of ideas is encouraged
- Identify projects that will result in the continuous improvement of the overall department through value creation, with the goal of maximizing efficiency
- Leads and coordinates daily requirements as requested by internal and external customers
- Communicates with purchasing and inventory team regarding requirements and status of the finished product
- Performs quality work within deadlines without direct supervision
- Supports Manager in achieving financial objectives as laid out in the annual budget, schedules expenditures, analyzes variances, initiates corrective actions
- Maintains accurate and sufficient levels of supplies
- Ensures equipment is serviced and calibrated in accordance with the SOP’s
- Ensures safe operation of lift trucks (standup, sit-down, and walk rider units and pallet jacks)
- Monitors temperatures in different work areas
- Maintains repack unit in a safe, clean, orderly and aesthetically pleasing manner (i.e., sweeping, mopping, organizing, picking up debris off the floor)
- Maintains physical condition of repacking unit by issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
- Ensures and monitors room sanitation processes
- Processes receipts against Purchase Orders timely and accurately
- Audits finished product in accordance with the SOP’s
- Produces sales transfers for the finished product
- Completes all processes using a combination of manual and computer methods
- Files paperwork and processes inventory transactions
- Ensures HACCP and food safety processes are adhered to and that all checklists are completed accurately and on time
- Ensures the adherence to all HACCP, Food Safety, SSOP’s and SOP requirements
- Complies with federal, state, and local requirements, including OHSA, FDA, MDARD, and USDA, by studying existing and new legislation
- Enforces adherence to requirements
- Communicates directly with authority bodies including but not limited to USDA, FDA, and MDARD
- Follows all Natural Choice Foods, Inc. policies and procedures
- Willing and able to work overtime, as needed

Work Environment:
The work is generally performed in an ambient and refrigerated area with conditions 35 degrees or higher. Short periods of time will be spent retrieving product from the warehouse freezer, usually maintained at 0 degrees
