Job Details

Objective: To supervise and ensure the safe completion of daily work of all members on your team and on your farm. This position will be a leadership position within the production department

Essential Job Duties:

• This position primarily works on the farm and around livestock
• Setting goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company’s plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates
• Ensure the work environment is safe, secure and healthy
• Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks. This includes meeting deadlines
• Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching. Ensure employees are meeting performance expectations.
• Receive complaints and resolve problems (Ensure great customer service)
• Maintain timekeeping and personnel records
• Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa
• Prepare and submit performance reports
• Decide on reward and promotion based on performance
• Train new and existing employees
• Ensure adherence to audit, legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises
• Excellent communication skills and passion for excellence
• Follow biosecurity practices on all company sites
