DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tenneco's Powertrain Division is looking for a Finance Manager that will be responsible for assisting with planning and managing the finance initiatives and strategies for the business operating unit. In addition to analyzing and evaluating potential investments, potential acquisitions or divestitures, and other investments as they relate to organization objectives. This person will become a valued member of our Sealing & Gaskets Finance department,where we strive to promote from within wherever possible; therefore, opportunities for advancement are strong.
An ideal candidate for this position is a candidate who possesses a bachelor's degree in account or finance and a minimum of seven years of related experience in an automotive manufacturing environment. Excellent problem solving skills, strong business and financial statement competencies and strong analytical skills are all necessary skills for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides financial analysis support to the business operating management
- Assists in the development and management of the budget, including ongoing variance analysis
- Participates in the monthly/quarterly/annual consolidated forecast along with the consolidation of the business plan at the group level
- Provides financial analysis and control covering diverse financial issues, e.g., leasing, capitalization, assets, projects, allocations
- Develops and maintains effective working relationships within the business unit, including its various locations along with corporate financial management
- Ensures compliance with global financial policies and procedures, including US GAAP and local reporting requirements
- Participates and supports Customer Financial Services as required, including financial risk analysis for customers and suppliers, review and implementation of global A/P and A/R processing requirements and improvements
- Manages PT-Corporate accounting and North American Admin ledgers
REQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA or CPA preferred.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum seven (7) years of related experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
- Strong financial expertise and skills including knowledge and familiarization with financial systems and other appropriate software
- Strong Project Management skills
- Ability to perform tasks where time management is key
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of SAP and/or Oracle preferred
