Our North American New Seller Success organization which drives growth for over 2MM Amazon Sellers is seeking dynamic and motivated Account Managers to join our fast-growing Black Business Accelerator (BBA) team of specialists to help Black-owned businesses start selling and successfully run their businesses in Amazon's store.
Key job responsibilities
Identify, qualify, acquire and grow minority-owned businesses selling on Amazon.
Implement and track metrics for recording the success and quality of the sellers in your vertical/territory. Use these metrics to guide your work and uncover hidden areas of opportunity.
Understand and utilize Salesforce.com CRM tools to track all pertinent account information and sales progress as well as forecast and prioritize to achieve quarterly quota goals.
Develop a thorough understanding of the e-commerce industry and competitive environment including knowledge of competitive product offerings.
Prioritize and complete additional projects while maintaining current book of business such as mentorship, competitive analysis, and sales analysis.
Prepare and deliver business reviews regarding progress and state of health for the respective territory.
Manage numerous opportunities concurrently and strategically.
Create and articulate compelling value propositions around the Selling on Amazon product.
Engage with merchants to understand their needs and gauge fit with the Amazon Services product set.
Develop a clear understanding of the Selling on Amazon products along with the features and functionalities.
Assist internal partners to drive change, remove roadblocks and close business.
A day in the life
The key responsibilities of a BBA Account Representative are centered on Selling Partner support and business growth as follows:
* Serve as a trusted advisor and single POC for BBA Sellers by developing a thorough understanding of the e-commerce industry and expert knowledge of each account's business.
* Tailor guidance and support to meet Seller-specific business needs by overseeing key activities, and delivering timely, accurate and professional support in response to their issues, questions, requests, and concerns.
* Provide advice on how to improve business inputs to execute new selection, merchandising, and operational improvements.
* Advise and connect BBA sellers with programs and resources that help to accelerate their business growth and improve the customer experience.
* Liaise with internal teams to resolve BBA Seller issues, questions, and escalations quickly and with high quality, and surface defects, data and anecdotes to drive improvements.
* Teach BBA Sellers how to be more successful on Amazon leveraging tools, programs, products, and new opportunities.
* Implement and track metrics and prepare and deliver business reviews regarding the progress and state of health for assigned accounts. Use these metrics to guide work and uncover hidden areas of opportunity.
* Understand and utilize Salesforce.com CRM tools to track all pertinent account information and sales progress.
* Demonstrate excellent time-management skills managing numerous accounts concurrently and strategically while working independently using centralized resources, policies and procedures.

Amazon's Black Business Accelerator is dedicated to helping build sustainable equity and growth for Black entrepreneurs by enabling their success as sellers. We help Black-owned Businesses grow their business with access to financial support, strategic business guidance and mentorship, and marketing and promotional support.
* Bachelor's degree or higher
* 5+ years of experience in sales and/or business development
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills including proficiency in composing concise, engaging, accurate and relevant responses.
* Demonstrated ability to use data to inform decisions
* Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically
* Ability to prioritize in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
* 7+ years working in a fast paced sales role capacity
* Passionate about scope of work with experience developing entrepreneur or seller relationships
* Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds
* Ability to work comfortably with ambiguity and form cohesive and effective outcomes
* Proven ownership and bias for action; willing to move quickly and decisively to resolve issues
* Strong organizational and workload management skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
* Experience building positive business relationships and working collaboratively across organizational boundaries in a fast-paced and innovative organization
* Ability to remain flexible to changing priorities and work on case triaging with various degrees of escalation
* Experience working with Salesforce and Tableau
