DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We arelooking for a Materials Manager for our Marshall, Michigan plant to contribute toour Clean Air business unit. You will be providingleadership for the plant's materials organization. Our top candidate will be degreedand have at least 10 years of proven work experience performing relevant tasks.

ESSENTIALDUTIES
- Develop schedules that support customer requirements and maintain inventory levels at prescribed targets.
- Coordinate outside vendor activities directly related to the manufacture/assembly of our product.
- Develop, monitor, and report on Materials Department budget and lead annual physical inventory.
- Responsible for direct and indirect material purchasing.
- Assure areas of responsibility are operating within the guidelines of the Brunswick Quality and Environmental, Health & Safety Management Systems to assure compliance with ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and IATF 16949 or other applicable industry standards requirements.
- Assume all materials management in SAP module, including product transfers, material creation, and changes on materials routing.
- Responsible for the development of departmental staff.
- Maintains departmental efficiency regarding timeliness and quality of reports and procedural requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business or related field required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in production/materials planning and scheduling, and purchasing, in a manufacturing environment.
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership capacity.
- Automotive or Agricultural industry experience a plus.
